Dr Dickon Hall is an art dealer and consultant and an art historian. Since 1996 he has curated and co-curated more than sixty exhibitions in Northern Ireland, Dublin and London, at independent and institutional galleries and museums.
He has acted as a consultant in various capacities for museums, private, corporate and institutional collections and government bodies, including carrying out valuations and providing curatorial services, and has sold works to many notable public and private collections, including the Art Institute of Chicago, the National Gallery of Ireland and the Ulster Museum.
Awarded an MA by the Courtauld Institute of Art, Dickon Hall also has a PhD from Ulster University. He has written extensively on modern and contemporary Irish, British and European art and has published monographs on Colin Middleton and Nevill Johnson.
Dickon Hall works by appointment as an art dealer and agent, and acts for contemporary artists including Gareth Reid, Mark Shields and Colin Watson.
